JSC Jasyl Damu took part in the session “Carbon Solutions: The Path to a Sustainable Future”, organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, IGTIC, and QazExpoCongress with the support of the Expo 2025 Organizing Committee. The event was held within the thematic week The Future of Earth and Biodiversity, dedicated to biodiversity conservation and climate resilience.
The Kazakh side presented its experience in implementing the Emissions Trading System, the preparation of the new National Carbon Quota Plan for 2026–2030, as well as initiatives to promote green investments. Key discussion topics included the effectiveness of carbon offsets, the role of renewable energy in emission reductions, and the development of international cooperation to build a transparent and sustainable carbon market.
Participation of JSC Jasyl Damu at Expo 2025 served as a platform to showcase national climate solutions and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s commitment to actively engaging in the global agenda on emission reduction and transition to sustainable development.
