JSC “Zhasyl Damu” is Developing a Unified Approach to the Management of Large and Extra-Large Tires

JSC “Zhasyl Damu” has reviewed proposals from industry representatives aimed at optimizing the management of large and extra-large tires (LGTs and ELGTs).

The working meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “Zhasyl Damu”, as well as companies engaged in the recycling of large and extra-large tires.

One of the proposals involves the preliminary cutting of tires directly at waste generators’ sites. This would reduce transportation volumes and costs, while accelerating the transfer of accumulated tires for recycling.

Following the discussion, a unified procedure for the preliminary processing and accounting of large and extra-large tires is expected to be developed. At the same time, maintaining transparent accounting and control at all stages of waste management remains a key requirement.
