A New Rubber Waste Recycling Facility of “Edil & Company” LLP Opened in Kostanay Region

Today, in the village of Pertsevka within the Rudny city territory, an official opening ceremony was held for a new rubber waste recycling plant operated by Edil & Company LLP. As part of the project, a modern processing line and a high-tech guillotine for cutting large-sized tires were commissioned.

The ceremony was attended by Akim of Rudny Viktor Ionenkо, Head of the Ecology Department for Kostanay Region Kuanysh Yeleusenov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Zhasyl Damu JSC Darkhan Dautov, and Director of the Investment Projects Department of Zhasyl Damu JSC Serikbol Kaliakbarov.

The implementation of the project became possible with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as through investment financing from the Industrial Development Fund. The new equipment significantly expands the company’s production capacity and contributes to improving the environmental situation in the region.

The investment volume amounted to 405 million KZT, enabling the increase of production capacity to 12,000 tons per year. A key feature of this project is the substantial reduction in rubber waste sent to landfills, decreased environmental impact, safe and efficient processing of large-sized tires, promotion of green economy principles, and greater involvement of secondary raw materials in production.

During the event, company representative Rinat Ishbulatov presented the technological processes and described the advantages of the implemented innovations. Participants also viewed the operation of the processing line directly in the workshop.

As noted by Zhasyl Damu JSC, the launch of this facility is an important step in implementing the national environmental program “Taza Kazakhstan” and developing a modern waste management infrastructure in the region.
