5th International Environmental Congress “Baitak” Held in Astana

Today in Astana, the 5th International Environmental Congress organized by the Kazakhstan Green Party “Baitak” took place.

On behalf of JSC “Zhasyl Damu”, Serikbol Kaliakbarov, Director of the Investment Projects Department, delivered a speech.

During the plenary session “Green Investments and Energy Transition”, he presented a report on concessional financing for solid waste recycling projects, emphasizing the importance of systemic support for environmental initiatives and the development of recycling infrastructure.

The key focus of the congress was the implementation of the “Green Agenda 2.0”, aimed at strengthening cooperation among Central Asian countries in climate resilience, water security, and ecosystem preservation.

The event served as an important international platform for dialogue, exchange of experience, and joint solutions in the field of sustainable development.
