EcoQolday: Figures That Are Transforming Kazakhstan’s Environmental Sector

JSC Zhasyl Damu has summed up the results of the EcoQolday information system — a digital platform designed to support waste collection and recycling enterprises.

As of January 9, 2026:
136 companies are registered in the system:
• 87 waste collectors
• 30 recyclers
• 19 full-cycle companies

78 contracts have been concluded, with 5 applications currently under review.

Since the launch of the platform, 439 reports have been submitted, including 20 reports in December 2025 alone.

A total of 60.4 thousand tons of waste have been sent for recycling, including:
paper — 39.0 thousand tons
glass — 14.6 thousand tons
tires — 6.2 thousand tons
plastic — 0.65 thousand tons

The total amount of payments to system participants has exceeded 1.1 billion tenge.

In addition, 842 applications were submitted by waste generators for more than 3.2 thousand tons of waste.
Both businesses and individual citizens are actively involved in the system.

In 2025, the Telegram support center processed 1,171 inquiries from entrepreneurs.
