EcoQolday System Enhances Efficiency in Waste Recycling

To date, contracts have been concluded with 90 entities within the EcoQolday information system. Among them are 60 waste collectors, 20 recyclers, and 10 full-cycle enterprises.

Within the framework of the EcoQolday system, the total volume of waste sent for recycling reached 103.39 thousand tons, including paper, glass, tires, and plastic waste.

A total of KZT 2,507.7 million has been paid to participants within the approved budgets of the respective years.

In order to implement the EcoQolday system and promote a culture of separate waste collection among the population, Zhasyl Damu JSC has been consistently carrying out awareness and outreach activities.

In particular, as part of the “Clean Home – Clean Country” pilot project, special containers for separate collection of paper and plastic waste were installed in residential complexes in Astana. Currently, similar initiatives are being expanded to other regions of the country.

In addition, since 2026, meetings have been organized in Aktau, Aktobe Region, Shymkent, and Taldykorgan with the participation of local authorities, condominium management representatives, and ОСИ associations to discuss the implementation of the EcoQolday system and encourage residents to participate in separate waste collection and sorting practices.

Through the continued development of the EcoQolday system, Zhasyl Damu JSC will further improve waste management mechanisms, increase recycling volumes, and strengthen environmental awareness among the public.
