How can you get a refund for an incorrectly or excessively paid recycling fee?

To request a refund or offset of an overpaid amount, you need to submit an application via the eOtinish platform.

A refund may be considered, in particular, if:
— the payment was made by mistake;
— the amount was calculated based on incorrect information;
— the goods for which the fee was paid were exported outside Kazakhstan;
— there are other grounds provided for under the applicable rules.

The application must include:
— information about the manufacturer or importer;
— contact details;
— the amount to be refunded or offset;
— bank account details;
— the certificate number and date;
— the grounds for the refund;
— a list of supporting documents.

A document issued by a bank or Kazpost JSC confirming the bank account details in the national currency must also be attached.
