New fire trucks handed over to Karkaraly National Park with the support of JSC Zhasyl Damu and JSC Industry Development Fund

The Karkaraly State National Nature Park has received eight modern domestic fire trucks of the HOWO brand with the financial support of JSC Zhasyl Damu and JSC Industry Development Fund.
These mobile, high-tech special vehicles will strengthen fire protection of the forest fund and help safeguard nature from fire.

The vehicles were developed based on the technical specifications of the Committee for Forestry and Wildlife of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and are designed to operate in the most challenging weather and terrain conditions. In addition, this equipment meets the EURO-5 standard, making it more environmentally friendly.

The fire trucks are equipped with spacious tanks and a full set of equipment required by firefighters. Each vehicle is also fitted with a system for spraying the body and wheel arches. This enables the vehicles to extinguish fires even while moving, contributing to more effective suppression of forest fires. The trucks also feature improved cross-country capability, allowing access to the most hard-to-reach areas of forest.

The renewal and expansion of the firefighting vehicle fleet is aimed at enabling a rapid response to outbreaks of fire, preventing the spread of forest fires, and preserving the unique nature of the national park.

A modern system consisting of mast structures with video surveillance cameras will provide continuous monitoring of the forest fund and promptly detect potential fire sources. The introduction of these hardware and software systems is designed to ensure rapid response to fires and their containment at an early stage.

The Karkaraly State National Nature Park is among the specially protected areas of the country. The total area of the park, distinguished by a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including plant species listed in the Red Book, exceeds 112 thousand hectares.

In addition, with the support of JSC Zhasyl Damu, together with JSC Industry Development Fund and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a fire early detection system will be introduced this year in the Karkaraly Nature Park and several other regions of the country. The installation of high-precision hardware and software systems uses advanced technologies that meet international standards in this field, with JSC Kazakhtelecom serving as the system integrator.
