As part of a working visit to the Mangystau Region, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov and Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Zhasyl Damu Yerzhan Sarsenbay visited enterprises implementing projects in waste collection, transportation, and recycling.
At Zero Waste Aktau LLP, the delegation reviewed the renewal of the company’s specialized vehicle fleet. Through the Industrial Development Fund JSC, financing was provided for the purchase of 25 specialized vehicles for waste collection and transportation.
The total project cost amounts to KZT 1 billion, of which KZT 800 million was provided with the financial support of JSC Zhasyl Damu. The allocated funds have been fully utilized, and the specialized vehicles have been purchased. The fleet renewal will help improve the quality of waste collection services and contribute to maintaining cleanliness in Aktau.
During the visit, the delegation also toured Paketnaya Fabrika LLP, where a project is being implemented to establish a recycling facility for the production of kraft paper.
The total cost of the project is KZT 650 million, with KZT 585 million financed by JSC Zhasyl Damu. As of October 5, the production line has been shipped. Delivery and installation of the equipment will be the next stages of the project’s implementation.
With the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC Zhasyl Damu continues to finance projects aimed at developing waste collection and recycling infrastructure across the regions of the country.
