“Zhasyl Damu” Awarded Schools of Zhezkazgan for Their Contribution to Environmental Culture Development

“Zhasyl Damu” held a competition aimed at fostering a culture of separate waste collection using the digital system EcoQolday, as well as improving environmental awareness among students. In total, 22 schools in Zhezkazgan took part in the project.

As part of this initiative, an award ceremony for the best educational institutions was held in the city.

During the event, schools that demonstrated high performance in waste separation and recycling were identified.

According to the results of the competition, the winners were:

1st place – Municipal State Institution “School-Lyceum No. 7 named after Kanysh Satpayev,” Department of Education of Zhezkazgan, Education Department of Ulytau Region

2nd place – Municipal State Institution “Gymnasium No. 8,” Department of Education of Zhezkazgan, Education Department of Ulytau Region

3rd place – Municipal State Institution “Secondary School No. 5 named after Kabden Shyngysov,” Department of Education of Zhezkazgan, Education Department of Ulytau Region

The winners were awarded valuable prizes by Serikbol Kaliyakbarov, Director of the Investment Projects Department of JSC “Zhasyl Damu.”

The purpose of the event was to promote environmental culture among schoolchildren and to foster a responsible attitude toward the environment.
