Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Zhasyl Damu Holds Working Meeting with Deputy Akim of Ulytau Region

Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Zhasyl Damu Yerzhan Sarsenbay held a working meeting with Deputy Akim of Ulytau Region Bolat Zhumabekov.

The parties discussed the key terms for financing environmental projects using recycling fee proceeds, including under the concessional financing program at an annual interest rate of 3%.

Yerzhan Sarsenbay emphasized the importance of involving businesses in the implementation of such projects and expressed readiness to work jointly with the regional akimat to further develop promising initiatives in detail.

The meeting also addressed the potential implementation of municipal waste sorting and recycling projects in the region.

Particular attention was paid to the opportunities offered by the EcoQolday program, including its potential use by property owners’ associations and apartment owners’ cooperatives (POAs/AOCs).
