Online discussion with representatives of garbage collection organizations in the northern region

On July 23, 2025, JSC "Zhasyl Damu" held an online meeting with representatives of garbage collection organizations in Astana, as well as North Kazakhstan, Akmola and Kostanay regions. 

The speaker was Nurzhan Kabdoldanov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC "Zhasyl Damu". He explained in detail the changes made to the Rules for the use of funds by the ROP Operator. 

One of the key innovations was the inclusion of garbage collection companies serving the public in the list of organizations receiving support for the implementation of a system for separate collection and sorting of waste through the installation of infrastructure (reception points, fanboys, containers). About 30 representatives of the industry, as well as employees of akimats, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs took part in the discussion. Issues of interaction with the EPR Operator, execution of contracts, reporting and payments for each ton of collected and recycled waste were considered. 

The participants also discussed the prospects for the development of the recycling industry and ways of further cooperation.
