Methodology for calculating the disposal payment, approved by Order No. 448 of the Acting Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 2, 2021 (hereinafter - the Calculation Methodology).

The calculation of the disposal payment (C_product) for produced (imported) products (goods) to which Extended Obligations of Producers and Importers apply, and their packaging, is calculated according to the following formula:

C_product = m * C_MCI * k,

Where:

C_product – the disposal payment;

m – mass of produced (imported) products (goods) (in tons);

C_MCI – the value of one monthly calculation index;

k – coefficient for calculating the disposal payment for products (goods) to which Extended Obligations of Producers and Importers apply to manufacturers (importers), determined in accordance with Appendix 1 to this Calculation Methodology.

The Methodology for calculating the payment for organizing the collection, transportation, processing, disposal, utilization, and (or) recycling of waste establishes the following coefficients for the specified calculation formula:
